FLAGS AND BANNERS

"You have set up a banner for those who fear and worshipfully revere You, a standard displayed because of Truth." Psalm 60:4 AMP

Waving a flag in worship to God creates a disturbance in the atmosphere much the same as a battle cry or a sound of worship offered up to our Lord. It literally stakes a claim and establishes territory in heavenly realms. Lifting high a flag or banner to honor our Creator is making a visual statement much as declared in Deuteronomy 6:4 - - -
"Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One. Blessed be His Name, His Kingdom is forever and evermore."

And as Jesus taught us to pray: "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven."

Just as the individual flags designated the positions of the twelve tribes of Israel - both in battle and in relationship to the Tabernacle (the Presence of God) - so do my various worship flags establish position and relationship.

As I raise a prophetic flag, I am declaring that my God reigns! And that I have a relationship with Him. I unashamedly offer myself as a standard-bearer for His Kingdom - to rally the troops, to gather the tribe, to give holy and acceptable praise unto His Name, and to change the atmosphere - all only at His direction.

"Pass through, Pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones.
Raise a banner for the nations."
Isaiah 62:10

The Bride that is now being prepared in the wilderness will emerge not only beautiful, but also terrible with power and authority from her Bridegroom. Lovely, but also dressed in the full armor of God. Song of Solomon 6:4 describes the Bride this way:
"Thou art beautiful, O My love, as Tizrah, comely as Jerusalem, terrible as an army with banners." Do NAS tr.

The original Hebrew words in out Bibles are so much more descriptive than our English Bibles translate. 'Banner', 'flag', 'standard', 'ensign' indicate:

"to flaunt, to raise a flag, to be conspicuous, to gleam from afar, to set up a signal, to raise a beacon, to lift up an ensign, a flag, also a sail, by implication - a flagstaff, a banner, a standard or a standard-bearer." Strongs Concordance H1713, H1714, H5264, H5251, H226

"We will shout in triumph at your salvation and victory, and in the Name of our God we will set up our banners." Psalm 20:5

I only create flag designs as directed by my Creator. I offer my hands (and my life) to Him in worship and he orchestrates the outcome. May you be inspired and loosed into deeper levels of creative worship - but please do not copy any of these designs. They are a product of my personal, intimate times with the Creator, and the 'copyrights' are registered in the courts of Heaven. Be blessed as you 'raise the standard'!
