Ministry Overview:
Worship is not something I do only as a scheduled portion of my regular weekly church service. Worship is the reason I was created, and it is literally as essential to me as the air I breathe. I know that I have been appointed and anointed for specific positions and assignments in the army of the Lord, and I choose to be faithful and obedient to serve Adonai T'sabaoth, the Lord of Hosts. If you research the major battles described in the Bible, very often the Divine strategy was to send the worshippers out in front. And so I believe it is today. Judah always goes first! (and Judah means 'Praise' )

My Calling:
The Lord has called and equipped me to worship in spirit and truth; to adorn His temple with splendor; to release in others a freedom in praise and worship, and to dance my intercession into the land at His instruction.

My Mission:
(1) To express my love for God through true worship - using everything that is within me and every gift of expression available.
(2) To lead, teach and impart a freedom in worship using dance, flags, banners, staffs, drama and other creative expressions as the Holy Spirit directs.
(3) To use the giftings that the Lord has placed in me for His glory alone, and to be obedient to do my portion to further the advancement of His Kingdom upon the earth.
(4) To stand as a gatekeeper and watchman to help bring healing to the land through cultural reconciliations, intercession, and prophetic acts.

This is a season when the Lord is calling back unto Himself the full range of the creative arts. Because I am an artist, He often speaks to me with visual images, and He has impressed upon me the concept of a 'tapestry'. We are all interwoven with each other and with His Spirit, each obedient one being positioned as a "lively stone" in the rebuilding of the walls of the temple of praise. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit and Jesus is pleased when we openly express our love for Him in worship - honoring Him with every aspect of ourselves, but always sensitive to the flow of His Spirit - moving only as He directs.

"As you come to Him, the Living Stone - rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to Him - you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ . . . But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light." I Peter 2:4-5,9

Flags, Banners, Staffs, and Dance are used to:

- minister praise, honor, and glory to our God
- minister to the church body
- minister in powerful intercession
- declare warfare worship
- make prophetic proclamations into heavenly realms

  Lord, Teach Us To Dance

Lord, Teach us to dance as David danced with absolute abandon Lost in Your freedom, strength, and love
Wrapped in unseen arms from above

But who are we to dance with You?
The world says weak and worn
But You see deeper than our souls
Beyond hearts that are torn

You say we are wild and free
Like the wind before the storm
Able to soar up to the sky
Above the world You've formed

A world that doesn't know You
With the intimacy we've found -
A world totally unprepared for
Your Glory to cover the ground

Lord, let our dance bring deliverance
And set the captives free
Cause the lame to dance for joy
And make blind eyes to see

For it is You who dances with us,
Your Presence that surrounds
For where You are there's power
And Your awesome Grace abounds.

I am available for creative worship workshops to instruct, release, and impart the gifts that have been given to me. Creativity is within each of us uniquely, though the gifts vary tremendously. It often just needs to be called forth, encouraged, and nurtured. Please contact me for information.

May your blessings overflow as you bless the Lord with worship! Joanne
